Talent for trouble

It’s been four months since the gang semi-solved their last mystery. But their biggest suspect remains at large, and when a local teen goes missing it becomes a race against time to connect the clues. Star Trek superfan Daniel leads the case, though his mood swings might be getting in the way of cracking it. Music-lover Jonno is distracted by the school talent competition. It may seem silly to the others, but Daniel’s got the people skills and Lydia’s got the brains – so do they even need him? School reporter Lydia is normally great at investigations. But with a different unsolved case on her hands, and a newspaper to edit, she doesn’t have time for the boys’ dramas. As the trio are pulled in different directions, can Daniel bring them together one last time to solve the mystery before it’s too late?
